Hi! I'm Michelle Binder and I am happy to welcome you to the Relational Riding Academy webpage. This site is designed to introduce you to the concepts and ideas behind Relational Riding. At Relational Riding Academy you or your children can take riding lessons, lease a horse or board your own horse, and have your horse professionally trained. At RRA you can become involved in horse related activities of all kinds in the greater Spokane area. This site contains lots of information about the lesson and horse training program, what Relational Riding is and about the equine rehabilitation program we are blessed to have. Some of their stories are on the pages behind the link "Horses and Riders". Proceeds from purchases you make here go towards saving and caring for horses that are starved, injured, or suffering from illness and disease. Please visit the RRA store and help us help the horses that come to us.
We are pleased to have completed work on the new DVD "any Horse, any Rider." Please click on the DVD cover picture on the right to watch the 4 minute trailer for the video as well as the 16 minute bonus feature "Every Horse Is Worth It." This bonus feature tells the stories of the RRA horses, rehabilitated at the farm, who starred in the video. I created Relational Riding™ to:

• Teach horse riding and training to horse lovers of all ages
• Promote love of horses
• Teach concepts and techniques that help develop relationships based on love, trust, and respect.
• Teach riders, trainers and instructors the physical skills necessary for riding the horse "on the aids".
• Expose participants to alternative healing modalities.
• Give people a sense of their role and responsibility in:
  • maintaining the health and soundness of their horses,
  • healing the body, mind, and spirit of the damaged horse.
• Inspire people to operate in their daily lives with patience, love, gentleness, kindness and respect toward all the people and animals around them every day.
• Use horses as the access to changing and uplifting the consciousness of humanity.
